It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harvey Leroy Klein of Rock Valley, Iowa, who passed away on April 27, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Harvey's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Harvey has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Klein and Nancy Klein (Dethmers); his wife Pauline Meyers; his sister Arlis Vander Sloot (Marvin); and his brother-in-law Eugene Brown.
He is survived by: his son Lyle Klein (Hope Haven); and his siblings, Alvin Klein (Lois) of Ontario, Don Klein (Marlene) of Ontario, Robert Klein (Helen) of Sioux Falls and Karen Brown of Austin, Texas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Harvey's family prefers memorials be directed to Hope Haven in Rock Valley.
