She was predeceased by: her parents, Willem Kooiman and Jennigjen Kooiman (Hubers); her husband Marinus Maassen; her sons, Doug and Myron "Mike"; and her son-in-law Peter Koehler.
She is survived by: her children, Sandi Anderson (Steve) of Hull, Dwayne "Butch" Maassen (Karen) of Sioux Center, Bradley Maassen (Mike Clark) of Cardiff, Larry Maassen (Pam) of Rock Valley, Leanne Bliek (Doug) of Rock Valley and Brent Maassen (Carisa) of Rock Valley; and her daughters-in-law, Liane Maassen of Rock Valley and Donna Maassen of Albers, Illinois. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
