He is survived by: his wife Carol De Jager; his children, Paul De Roon (Cheryl), Carla Bierne (Pat), Karen Jansen (Rob) and Lisa De Wit (Justin); his siblings, Clarence De Roon and Nellie Tilstra; Elaine Roetman and Marlene De Jager (Ron).
