He is survived by: his former wife Phyllis White of Clarion; his children, Susan, Elizabeth, John, David and Rebecca; his brother Ed Sheffield (Mary Parker) of Madison, Wisconsin; and his sister-in-law Virginia Sheffield of Lake City, Iowa.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
