He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hicok; his siblings, Gaylen (Gloria) of Charles City, Audrey (Dan) of Nashua and Wayne (Carol) of Nashua; his sisters-in-law, Susan of Van Meter and Betty (Hugh) of Adel, Iowa; his sons, Kent of Dallas Center, Kurt (Cyndi) of Eagan and Kevin (Bridie) of Sumter; and his grandchildren, Kaylah (Jordan) of Des Moines, Kole (Tori) of Johnston, Delaney (Avery) of Eagan, Ainslie of Eagan, Jon of Sumter, Moira of Sumter and Michael of Sumter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the family will be used towards local community projects in his honor.
