He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Flaherty and Elsie Flaherty (Hinrichs); and his brother-in-law Richard. He is survived by: his children, Tawn of Rockwell City, Tenette "Tennie" of Stratford and Travis of Stratford; and his siblings, Shirley Bakken, Marian Habben (Harlan), Danny Flaherty (Mary) and Tom Flaherty (Judy). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
