She was predeceased by: her parents, LaVern Zunkel and Beverly Zunkel (Baedke); her sisters, Denise Van Pelt and Deanna Lichliter; and her sister-in-law Marti Usher.
She is survived by: her husband Steve Harper of Rockwell City; her daughters, Staci Castillo (Aaron) of Irvine, CA and Kelli Graeve (Aaron) of Jolley, IA; her grandchildren, Jayci Graeve, Dillon Graeve and Kalei Castillo; her sisters, Patty Caldwell (Ken) of Jacksonville, FL, Cindy Kennedy of Des Moines and Debbie Gustoff (Rick) of Boone; and her sisters-in-law, Beth Buck (Ron), Nancy Yockey, MaryJane Mohr (Jeff) and Karen Scott (Jeff). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hope Church (333 Brower St, Rockwell City, IA 50579). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 12th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
