The passing of George J. Ensminger of Rome, Iowa leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 24, 2025 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ensminger and Gayle Ensminger (Messer); his wife Donna Jean Scarff; and his brothers, Robert and Richard Ensminger.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Shane, Leah, Mallory and Lillian; his sister-in-law Betty Ensminger; his friend Trudy Rodgers; and his pet Jenny. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rome Baptist Church (104 W Market St, Mt Pleasant, IA 52641).
Memorials may be directed to the Rome Baptist Church or to the Grant Cemetery in his memory.
