He is survived by: his wife Brenda Pickle Rose of Rome; his children, Lisa Fry of Rome and John Rose (Anna-Marie) of Mt. Pleasant; his grandsons, Jacob, Dylan Smith and Jasper Rose; his great grandchildren, Leona, Peyton, Adrian, Sawyer and River; and his sister Reta Feld (Ron) of Knoxville, Tennessee.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elliott Funeral Chapel (1 Redbud Ln, New London, IA 52645). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
