With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Layton Lewis Miller of Runnells, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 28, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Layton find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Miller and Mae Miller; his wife Norma Jean Crozier; and his children, Bert Burns (Tom), Tim Miller (Deb), Layton Miller (Barb), Carroll Miller (Lynda), Merrill Miller (Colette) and Marquita Utter (Jim). He was also cherished by his 6 kids and their spouses, 34 grandkids, 56 great grandkids, 2 great, great grandkids and a sister.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Layton's name may be directed to the Howard Street Christian Church Youth Fund.
