Robert L. Battles Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert L. Battles Sr. of Runnells, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 3, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Robert's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Robert has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Battles and Bessie Battles (Northway). He is survived by: his wife Willine Battles (Randles); his children, Rob Battles (Michele), Gale Battles (Pon), Kim Parlee (Steve) and Gwen Murillo (Jamie); and his sister Carmen Crowell (Perry). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and twelve greatgrandchildren.
