He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Wayne and Gertrude Nichols (Mentzer); his siblings, Patricia Ann Nichols and Steven Nichols; and his brother-in-law Robert Brummer.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kevin Nichols of Dunlap, Lori Brummer of Denison and Karen Schmidt (Delbert) of Denison. He is also survived by three nephews, one niece, five great nephews and one great niece; and many other relatives and friends.
