She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Kuder and Birdie M. Kuder (Newman); her husband Jim; her daughter Kathy Lea; and her siblings, Don Kuder, Bill Kuder, Kenneth Kuder, James Kuder, Jane Kuder, Jean Essex and Nancy Kuder.
She is survived by: her children, Gene Wright (Paula) and Mary Nichols (Ed); her grandchildren, Alison Wright, Ashley Wright Shannon (Kevin), Jessica Eikenberry (Sean), Alex Wright (Alexis), Lindsay McCullough (Nick) and Josh Nichols; and her great grandchildren, Isabella, Charlie, Taylor, Owen, Maxwell, Langan, James and Evelyn. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pierschbacher Funeral Homes - Chariton (914 Roland Ave, Chariton, IA 50049). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the EveryStep Kavanagh House or to Faith United Methodist Church in Russell.
