In the sacred silence of farewell, Dean is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Schoning and Margene Schoning (Beving); his in-laws, Francis and Edith Long; and his brother Joel Schoning.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Schoning of Ruthven, IA; his daughter Heidi Beck (Bryan) of Ida Grove, IA; his grandchildren, Taylor Beck of Ames, IA and Myles Beck of Ida Grove, IA; and his brothers, Mike Schoning (Cindy) of Milford, IA and Jay Schoning of Ruthven, IA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (1305 Okoboji Ave, Milford, IA 51351). A rosary will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
