He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlyn William and Constance Faye Johnson (Huffman); and his brother Craig Johnson. He is survived by: his sister Deb Prior (Richard) of Graettinger; and his nephews, Christopher Prior (Jennifer) and Matthew Prior.
