Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Barry for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Kennedy and Lorraine Kennedy (Reiss); and his siblings, Connie Curran, John Kennedy and Victor "Vic" Kennedy.
He is survived by: his brother Kevin Kennedy of Warsaw, Missouri; and his nephews, Kelly Graybill, Chris Graybill, Tim Kennedy, Brad Kennedy and Scott Kennedy. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (3194 IA-13, Ryan, IA 52330). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the American Legion (210 Main St, Ryan, IA 52330).
