With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary J. Jungen of Sabula, Iowa, who passed away on August 21, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Jungen, and Lois Jungen, Sr. (Troy); his son Brian; his sister Judy; and his father-in-law Dick Lingle.
He is survived by: his significant other Karen Lingle Jess; his sons, Curt Jess (Ashley) of Preston, Chris Jess (Erika) of LeClaire and Eric Jess (Lindsay) of Ankeny; his grandchildren, Skylar (Nate Wells), Alexis, Eli, Ainsly, Bennett, Brady and Brynn; his siblings, Kenny Jungen, Jr. of Clinton and Sue McMahon (Rich) of Clinton; his mother-in-law Dorothy Lingle of Clinton; and his siblings-in-law, Barb Weber (Bob) of Clinton, Anne Strawser (Mark) of Bettendorf, Rick Lingle (Mary) of Lombard, IL, Steve Lingle (Traci) of Thomson, IL and Bob Lingle (Juan Carlos) of Oakland Park, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
