She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Frieden and Loretta Pauline Frieden (Young); her former husband Ed Rhodes; her brother Steve Frieden; and her nephews, Tyler and Jeremy Frieden.

She is survived by: her husband Eric Hildebrandt of Clinton; her children, Nicole Ryner (Doug) of Cave Springs and Brian Heritage (Stephanie) of East Moline; her stepchildren, Erika Hildebrandt (Matt Hamilton) of Clinton, Shelly Hamm of East Moline, Cameron Rhodes of Annawan and Billie Jo Rhodes of East Moline; her grandchildren, Austin, Addison, Alexandria Ryner, Chloe, Caleb Heritage, Emilia, Elva Hamilton, Meagan, Codey Hamm and Catelyn Urena; her great grandchild Maximiliano; her siblings, Connie Lobel (Doug) of Florida and Rob Frieden (Rhonda) of Kansas; and her sister-in-law Deb Frieden of Maquoketa, Iowa. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and good friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Kathy's memory to one's favorite charity.
