It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole Conger of Sac City, Iowa, who passed away on April 26, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carole Conger to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry McCollum and Vera Marie McCollum (Schnirring) of Hutch's Café; and her in-laws, Lonnie and Bertha Conger. She is survived by: her brothers, Harry Allen McCollum (Susan) of Tea, SD and Charles Lee McCollum (Sima) of Auburn, IA; her siblings-in-law, Clare Frevert (Jim) of Ames, IA, Larry Conger (Lin) of East Deery, NH and Janice DePover (Bill) of Davenport, IA; and her sisters, Kim McLendon (Mike) of Fancy Gap, VA, Pam Cribb (Wayne) of Chesapeake, VA and Nancy Stevens (Jim) of Carrollton, GA. She is also survived by first cousins, and several nieces, nephews, other extended family member and friends.
Carole enjoyed her Alzheimer's years loving her many cats, reading books until finally, when she reached the bottom of the page, she could not remember the top of the page, working in the yard and following me everywhere.
