He was predeceased by : his parents, Delmar Blass and Jacqueline Blass (Luft); his sister Linda Baumeier (Dennis); his parents-in-law, Cecil and Louise Boeckman; and his siblings-in-law, Kris Boeckman and Pat Dahm.
He is survived by : his wife Karen Blass of Sac City, IA; his daughters, Cari Wieck (Justin) of Sac City, IA and Andrea Iby (Andrei Kallaur) of Brooklyn, NY; his grandchildren, Ella and Cecil Wieck; his sister Barb Dahm of Early, IA; and his brother-in-law Dave Blaha of Boone, IA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends.
