He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Lois Thomas; and his grandson Eric Findley. He is survived by: his wife Vera; his daughter Tammy Weathers (Nate) of Primghar, Iowa; and his stepchildren, Lori Lasher of Yetter, Wes Lasher (Deb) of Algona, Aaron Lasher of Lanesboro, Owen Lasher (Tasha) of Boone and Rachel Seil (Rusty) of Lake City, Iowa.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home (1120 W Main St, Sac City, IA 50583).
