Mike Green Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Mike Green of Sac City, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Green and Grace Green (Duffy); his siblings, Robert Green and Barbara Steinkamp (Randy); his sisters-in-law, Linda Green, Patricia Gail Kerans and Cathryn Martin (Bruce); and his parent-in-law Bert O'Connor (Rose).
He is survived by: his wife Jeani of Sac City; his sons, Dave (Katie) of Kansas City, Pat (Mary) of Hudson, OH and Jim (Cassie) of Sac City; his grandchildren, Ava, Emery, Graham Green, Lucy, Hank, Violet, Mikey Green, Max, Noah and Madi Green; and his siblings-in-law, Tom O'Connor (Ann) of Boston, MA, Doug Kerans of The Villages, FL, Joni Carlson (Doug) of Lake Lotawana, MO and Rose Buckingham (Dana) of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (621 S 12th St, Sac City, IA 50583).
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, please know the family will be donating monetary memorials received to the Sac City VFW Post 590, Sac City Volunteer Fire Department, and Sac County EMS in Mike's memory.
