He is survived by: his mother Dona Opsal of Armstrong, IA; his daughter Sarah Jo Opsal (Tayler); his wife Denise Opsal of Sac City, IA; his sisters, Wendy Oleson (Bill) of Armstrong, IA and Michele Doskocil (David) of Trophy Club, TX; and his stepchildren, Tara Cox (Harold), Ryan Bearbower (Andrea) and Dane Merry (Megan). He is also survived by five grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other extended family.
