It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Pearson of Sac City, Iowa, who passed away on November 22, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her adoptive parents, John Gardiner and Zoa Gardiner (Shreve); her children, Kenneth, Jr., Joyce Callesto of Georgia, Elizabeth Laursen (Kelly) of Sac City, IA and Kenny Jr. Earnest (Julia) of Des Moines, IA; her stepchildren, David Zimmerman (Jean) of Emmetsburg, IA, Donna Jesse (Paul) of Storm Lake, IA, Terry Zimmerman (Kim) of Storm Lake, IA and Tammy Andersen (Doug) of Cedar Falls, IA; her parents, John Gardiner and Zoa Gardiner; her former life partners, Robert K. Petersen (CA) and Kenneth Earnest, Sr. (IA); and her husband Donald L. Zimmerman. She was also cherished by ten step-grandchildren; many step-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other extended family members, and friends.
