With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jon William Koster of Saint Ansgar, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 25, 2025 at the age of 57. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jon William Koster to pay them a last tribute.
Though Jon William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jon William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Koster and Shirley Koster (Mouw); his brothers, Jeff and Steven; and his uncle Bill.
He is survived by: his spouse Jean Heimer; and his sons, Jackson and Garrett.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Catholic Church (604 N Broad St, Stacyville, IA 50476). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Wounded Warrior Project, Sons of the American Legion, or St. Jude.
