He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa Heil; his siblings, Betty, Larry, Kenny, Dick, Stan and Britt; and his daughter-in-law Rhoda Karns.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Karns (Lisa) of Hubbard, Kim Karns of St. Anthony, Karla Huisman (Eric) of Wellsburg and Heidi Blinn (Cameron) of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Chad Karns (Jen), Brooke Rohe (Mark) and Heath Karns (Jamie Craig); his great grandchildren, Peyton, Isaac, Spencer, Blake, Gavin, Kamryn, Easton, Avery, Audra, Andie, Allyx, Emersyn, Kashton and Kasen; his sisters, Margaret Ridout and Reta Oetker; and his sister-in-law Linda Karns.
