She was predeceased by: her parents, William Armstrong and Ella Armstrong. She is survived by: her husband Donnie; her children, Barb Holland (Jay), Brian Veasman (Dana), Jennifer Fuller (Jeremy), Charles Strable (Crystal) and Jeff Blanchard (Lori); her grandchildren, Libby Gardner (Joe), Laney Guintard (Matt), Lexxy Rhodes (Joe), Lilly Barker (Logan), Jenna Churchill (Maddi), Noah Veasman, Ian Veasman, Alyvia Fuller, Landon Fuller, Loftan Alfstad, Emily Schnathorst (Ethan), Jessica Strable, Emily Blanchard and Abigail Blanchard; and her siblings, Bob Armstrong (Gladys), Hattie O'Brien and Beulah Veasman. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Overton Funeral Home (501 W Ashland Ave, Indianola, IA 50125). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials, in memory of Janet, may be given to Susan G. Komen Foundation.
