She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond D. Michelson and Ardith Michelson (Berhow); her daughter Michele; her brother Marvin; and her daughter-in-law Cathy Flaherty.
She is survived by: her husband Bob of Salem; her children, Michael Flaherty (John) of Des Moines, Warren Barton (Sheila) of Salem and Terry Barton (Tina) of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Alyssa Gibson (Tyler), Mallarie Schafer (Joe), Collin Huff (Alyssa), Brianna Flaherty (Chase), Tyson Sammons, Traden Barton and Brody Barton; her great grandchildren, Henry, Grace, Llewyn, Leonard and Kate; her siblings, Doyce Michelson (Jeannette), Sandy Smith and Karen Hanig; her son-in-law Doug Huff; and her sister-in-law Beverly Johnson.
Memorials may be directed to the Salem Congregational Church in her memory.
