She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Pugh and Hazel Pugh (Gray); her brother Leonard Pugh; her siblings-in-law, Bev Pugh and Ernie Bain; and her nephew Vince.
She is survived by: her former husbands, Carl Wilson and Charles Newman; her children, Debbie Wilson (Marvin) of Salem, IA, Greg Wilson (Teri) of Marshalltown, IA, Carla Wilson of Salem, IA and Ruth Allen (Charlie) of Fort Madison, IA; her grandchildren, Michele Bensch (Pierre) of Hillsboro, IA, Melanie Anderson of Mount Pleasant, IA, Nathan Swift of Burlington, IA, Jamie Gardner (Stewart) of Emporia, KS, Jeff Wilson (Maggie), JJ Frary of Fort Madison, IA and Cali Wilson (Gracie) of Nashville, TN; her siblings, Marilyn Bain of Peoria, IL and Dick Pugh of Alden, IA; and her sister-in-law Connie Pugh of Toledo, IA. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for the Salem Fire Department and Salem Playground.
