She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Fritzjunker and Lena Fritzjunker (Kuhljuergen); her husband Ralph Walljasper; her children, Mary Elizabeth and Wayne; her children-in-law, Kathy Walljasper and Jerome Kuhlmeier; and her siblings, Joe Fritzjunker and Marian Kilbourn.
She is survived by: her children, Wendel Walljasper (Wendy) of Donnellson, Arlo Walljasper (Sherry) of New London, Sandy Kuhlmeier of Fort Madison, Jeanne Vantiger (Alan) of West Point, Dean Walljasper (Angie) of West Point and Jolene Edmonds (Alan) of Mediapolis; and her grandchildren, Shelly Ekle (Lee), Dustin Walljasper (Samilyn), Caitlin Walljasper, Amanda Tate (Doug), Sara Walljasper, Katie Kremer (Brian), Denise Waymack, Jason Kuhlmeier, Jeremy Kuhlmeier (Kris), Michelle Walljasper (JD Hoover), John Walljasper, Stacey Stotlar (Jason), Eric Vantiger (Jen), Bryce Walljasper, Kira Howe (Tristin), Luke Walljasper, Sara Conley (Brad), Sawyer Edmonds and Wyatt Edmonds. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in her memory for St. James Catholic Church or West Point Care Center.
