He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hubert Fetterman and Versa Fetterman (Clark); his wife Gee Gee; his children, Becky Thornton (Jack) of Salem and Randy Fetterman of Oquawka; his grandchildren, Megan Conrad (Jarod), Tasha Thornton (Tommy), Brandon Fetterman and Matthew Fetterman; his great grandchildren, Chayse and Julian; and his sister-in-law Mary Fetterman of Trenton. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the Faith Lutheran Church of Mt. Pleasant and the Salem Fire and Rescue Association in his memory.
