She was predeceased by: her parents, Zenna DeBoom (Meylink) and William DeBoom; her husband Garry Lee Sampson; her siblings, Alice Kae and David; and her granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Kurth.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dianne Jameson (Larry), Barbara Krull (Russell), Terry Kurth (Fred) and Yvonne Verdoorn (Richard); her adoptive children, Joel and Kim Tewes; and her siblings, Bill DeBoom and Delores Douma. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the United Church of Primghar.
