He is survived by: his wife Eunice DeBoer; his children, John DeBoer (Mary) of Archer, IA, Tim DeBoer (Jessica) of Archer, IA, Sharon Postma (Dwayne) of Rock Rapids, IA, Donald DeBoer (Shana) of Archer, Mark DeBoer (Laura) of Primghar, IA and Connie Ferguson of Emmetsburg, IA; and his stepchildren, Brenda Polhamus (Rod), Arlyn Snuttjer (Dawn) and Wanda Sneller (Randy). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be directed to the Archer Fire Department.
