He was predeceased by: his parents, Norma Beermann (Appeldorn) and Walter Beermann; his wife Betty Lou Carlson; his son Donald Beermann; his siblings, Luella Beermann, Darlene Blumeyer, Caroline Rensink, Betty Engelke, Bertha Laursen, Merle Beermann, Brad Andersen and Merlin Beermann; his siblings-in-law, Conrad Laursen, Wendell Rensink, Verdean Blumeyer, Carol Andersen and Jennie Beermann; and his great grandchild Halas Guinn.
He is survived by: his children, Jean Meyer (Brad) of Blue Springs and Paul Beermann (Dennette) of Cherokee, Iowa; his brother Henry Andersen of Hartley, Iowa; and his siblings-in-law, Brian Engelke of Sutherland, Iowa and Jan Beermann of Waukee, Iowa. He is also survived by five grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. John Lutheran Church.
