She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Hansen and Doris Hansen (Lochmiller); and her siblings-in-law, Dave Long, Delbert Preul (Lorraine), Janice Christiansen (Howard), Rovanis Preul, Larry Preul and Gunner Detlefsen.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Preul of Denison; her daughters, Rhonda Gray (Jim) of Dakota Dunes, Vicki Schraeder (Randy) of Denison and Julie Thelen (Jim) of Carroll; her grandchildren, Amanda Mallonee (Drew), Zach Gray (Tedi), Brandyn Schraeder, Cole Schwarte, Jake Gray (Britni), Heather Thompson (Andy), Seth Gray (Jenna) and Justin Schraeder; her great grandchildren, Gordon, Cora, Addie, Gavin, Nora, Grady and Noah; her sisters, Shirley Long of Ankeny and Lucy Hansen (Javier Jimenez) of Rancho Viejo, Texas; and her siblings-in-law, Berneil Preul of Denison, Mary Preul of Henderson, Darrell Preul (Linda) of Knoxville, Joyce Detlefsen of Schleswig, Dick Rudner (Darlene) of Scottsdale and Rick Preul (Deb) of Kiron. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schleswig Country Club (904 Valley View Dr, Schleswig, IA 51461).
