We announce the death of Charlene Marie Baker of Scranton, Iowa, who passed away on July 5, 2026, at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Johnson and Bernice Johnson (Butz); her husband Duane Baker; her parents-in-law, Josephine Baker and Donald Baker (Cleo); her siblings, Virginia Parrish (Raymond), Dolores Wergeland (Marvin), Marlene Vorland (Kenny), Marvin Johnson, Bernard Johnson (Marlene) and John Johnson (Joyce); and her sister-in-law Mary Baker.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Baker (Rhonda) of Scranton, Jon Baker (Amy) of Scranton and Juli Jenkins (Jeff); her grandchildren, Justin Baker (Sammy), Kyle Baker (Heather), Michael Jenkins, Megan Jenkins, Sam Baker and Emily Baker; and her siblings-in-law, Romayne Baker (Daly) of Chicago, Donnie Baker of Montana and Gwen Johnson of Eagle Grove. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested for a later designation.
