With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary L. Novak of Scranton, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 15, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Henry Wild and Ethel Davis (Wild); her husbands, James LeRoy Walker and Lou Novak; her stepson Todd Novak; and her siblings, Larry Wild, Lewis "Junior" Davis, Michael Davis and Pat Betz.

She is survived by: her sons, Tom Walker (Deb) and Randy Walker (Patti); her stepchildren, Tony Novak (Karla), Tina Novak Salisbury and Tanya Novak Current (Steve); her grandchildren, Joshua, Jordan, Taylor, Alexander, Dustin, Nathan, Kyle, Heath, Nate, Morgan, Piper, Cooper and Riley; her siblings, Jerry Wild (Linda), Jack Davis (Karen), Jimmy Davis (Brenda), Judy Davis and Beverly Petersen (Paul); and her siblings-in-law, Tom Novak, Margy French and Pat Wild. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested for a later designation.
