It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gertrude Ann Sekera of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Rex Longstreth and Gladys Longstreth (Betz); her siblings, Bonnie Kuykendall (Dorman) and John "Jack" Longstreth (Marge); and her husband Robert Sekera.

She is survived by : her children, Rexann Smith (Marlow), Rhonda Mersch (Brian Humphrey) of Sioux City, IA and Daniel Kaler (Stacey); and her stepchildren, Robert Sekera Jr. (Mary) of Modale, IA and Jean Ann Beranek (Sekera) of Omaha, NE..

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM.

Any memorials can be donated to Sunrise Retirement Community or St. Croix Hospice in Trudy's name.
