We bid farewell to LaMerle S. Wilson of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 21, 2026 at the age of 99. LaMerle touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe W. Rydberg and Ethel E. Rydberg (Carlberg). She is survived by: her friend Roy Wilson; her children, Nadine Louise (Doug O'Connell), Clyde Vern and Connie Bosse (Glenn) of Jefferson, SD; her grandchildren, Ashleigh Keegan (Justin) and Kara Meisinger (Nick); her great grandchildren, Harlie Jo, Presley Lynn and Gwendolyn Nichole; her sisters-in-law, Janice Rydberg and Marge Rydberg; her husband Roy; her great grandchild Westly Nicholas Meisinger; and her siblings, Joetta Rydberg, Relaine Grotjohn, Marlys Bennett, Dwayne, LuVerne "Bud" and Ronald Rydberg. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church of Holstein, Iowa (208 S Kiel St, Holstein, IA 51025).
