Dorothy Bergan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Bergan of Seymour, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Dorothy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elga Enfield and Ellen Enfield; her husband Curt Bergan; her sons, Doug and Stan Bergan; her daughter-in-law Linda Bergan (Harrington); and her siblings, Margaret Jacobson, Loren and Dean Enfield.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane (Jess Hoover) of Seymour, IA; and her daughter-in-law Sharon Bergan Hodgdon LeRoy (Al). She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Le Roy Lutheran Church (120 W Luella St, Le Roy, MN 55951). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
