She is survived by: her children, Brandy Sanders and Leonard Dean Schakel; her grandchildren, Bailey Sanders, Americus Schakel (Cooper) and Katana Schakel; her close friend Bruce Miller; her siblings, Jane Vielma, Virgel Johnston Jr. and Roxanne Ingram; her sister-in-law Christi Stevens (Bob); and her nephew Lance Gordon. She is also survived by her children, family, and many dear friends.
