She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Smith and Erma Smith (Morgan); her husband Kenneth Vandermark; her daughters, Connie Coffman and Teresa Baugh; and her brother Robert Smith (Carolyn).

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Barrell, Kenneth "Cisco" Vandermark (Josie), William "Poncho" Vandermark and Rose Vandermark-Martin; her sons-in-law, Clovie Coffman Sr. and Charlie Baugh; her grandchildren, Clovie Coffman Jr., Robbie Vandermark (Brittany), Amanda Leavitt (Todd), Katrina Baugh, Hunter Barrell, Holly Barrell-Hagberg (Cody), Luke Vandermark, Molly Vandermark, Dustin Vandermark, Kendall Leavitt, Lacey Martin and Teagan Martin; and her siblings, Mary Ellen Small (Richard), Jane Christian (Paul) and John Smith (Peggy). She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
