He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Gardner and Sarah Schadt; and his sister Ellen Page. He is survived by: his wife Bee Schadt; his sons, Russell and Harold W. Schadt; his grandchildren, Nichole Hallman (Cody), Kalee Reed (Tyler) and Caleb Schadt; his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Willow and Vanessa; and his siblings, Kitty Clasing, Cheryl Madsen, Aaron Sullivan, Martin Sullivan, John Sullivan and Cozette Alexandres.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Major Erickson Funeral Home (111 N Pennsylvania Ave, Mason City, IA 50401). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at the Memorial Park Cemetery (11495 265th St, Mason City, IA 50401).
