He is survived by: his children, David Wilson (Jessie) of Council Bluffs, Jennifer Maurer of Las Vegas, NV and Paula Burnison of Shelby, IA; his grandchildren, Spencer Petersen, Adam Wilson, Kira Wilson, Brayden Burnison and Brienna Skye Indermuhle; his siblings, Larry Wingert of Elk Horn, IA, Sue Ellen Mills of La Junta, CO and Sara Schmit (Rich) of Fremont, NE; and his sister-in-law Jan Wingert of Shelby, IA..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503).
The family will direct memorial contributions.
