We announce the death of Dorothy L. Vance in Sheldahl, Iowa, who passed away on July 18, 2026, at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Byerly and Lottie Byerly; her husband James Vance; and her son Steve Vance. She is survived by: her children, Deb Noelk (Keith), Cindy Nilius (Larry) and Brian Vance (Lana); her daughter-in-law Jean Vance; and her sister-in-law Frances Potter. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren.
