LaJean Gaulke Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaJean Gaulke of Sheldahl, Iowa, who passed away on December 8, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cedric Thomas and Beatrice Gladys Anderson (Estrem); her husband Gordon Clifton Gaulke; her children, Deb Drzycimski (Bruce) of Slater, Greg Gaulke (Becky) of Ely and JaNeil Long (Kenny) of Ankeny; her grandchildren, Chris Baker (Sheri) of Spencer, Brent Drzycimski (Sara) of Huxley, Spencer Gaulke of Ely, Carter Gaulke of Ely, Charity Watson (Tom) of Ankeny and Mandy Hancke (Tiaan) of Heath; her great grandchildren, Chloe, Sam, Quinn, Meredith Baker, Bradley, Noah, Wesley Drzycimski Faith Watson, Christian and Aletta Hancke; and her sister LaVonne Newbrough.

The family has respectfully requested that any memorial contributions be made to Sheldahl United Methodist Church, Taylor Hospice and the Slater Area Historical Association.
