She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles DeRoos and Hilda DeRoos (Dittman); her husband Robert H. Brinkman; her son Bill McPeek; and her stepchildren, Rick Brinkman and Shelly Vander Tuig.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Vickie McPeek of Sheldon; her grandsons, Joshua McPeek (Aimee) of Sheldon and Aaron McPeek (Felicity) of Sheldon; her stepgrandson Mike Addengast; her stepchildren, Debra Johnson (Mark) of Sheldon and Tom Brinkman (Brenda) of Centerville; her stepdaughter-in-law Lori Brinkman of Sanborn; her brother Del DeRoos of Athol, Idaho; her close friends, Dan, Norma Budden, Ray and Carol Schwebach; Ed Van Meeteren. She is also survived by step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and step great great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (310 10th St, Sheldon, IA 51201).
