She was predeceased by: her parents, Menno Bents and Grace Bents (Kruse); her grandson Jeff Duncan; her siblings, John and Mary Ellen; her parents-in-law, Ray and Nell Tanner; her brother George; and her sister-in-law Shirley Tanner.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald "Ron" Tanner of Sheldon, Iowa; her children, Ronald "Skip" Tanner Jr. (Patricia) of Sheldon, Iowa, Rebecca Muilenburg (Dave) of Sanborn and Russell Tanner of Sheldon, Iowa; her grandchildren, Paige Duncan (Eric Bernier) of Sanborn, Nicholas Tanner (Rachel) of Lake Park and Grant Muilenburg (Ali) of Spencer; her great grandchildren, Audrey Grace Tanner and Reese Muilenburg; her sister Gertrude Frey; and her sister-in-law Janice Bents. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Andringa Funeral Home - Sheldon (1601 Park St, Sheldon, IA 51201). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
