We are sad to announce that, on December 20, 2025, at the age of 68, Joseph H. Martens of Sheldon, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Martens and Evelyn Martens (Betz); his daughter-in-law Daniela Martens; and his brother Philip Martens. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Martens of Mary's Catholic Church; his children, Travis Martens, Angie Broesder (Mark) and Bruce Martens (Terra); his grandchildren, Patrick, Nicholas, Thomas, Shakota (Shorty), Libby (Stretch) and Emma (Ralph); and his siblings, John Martens (Evelyn), Stanley Martens (Barbara) and Lila Kummerfeld (Charles). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
