Marilyn A. Andringa Obituary
We announce the death of Marilyn A. Andringa of Sheldon, Iowa, who passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 75. Marilyn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Sundberg and Delma Sundberg (Mainquist); her husband Fred Andringa; her brothers, Wayne David Sundberg and Donald Sundberg; her nephew Evan Andringa; her niece Erica DeUnger; and her siblings-in-law, Judy Hulstein, Lee DeUnger, Bernita Andringa and Art Andringa.
She is survived by: her son Christopher Andringa of Ames, Iowa; and her siblings, Virginia Eisele of Chicago, Illinois and Richard Sundberg of Stanton, Iowa. She is also survived by many brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 12:00 PM at the Andringa Funeral Home (724 6th Ave, Sheldon, IA 51201). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Immanuel Christian Reformed Church (601 Union Ave, Sheldon, IA 51201). A burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at the East Lawn Cemetery - Sheldon Add (700 Union Ave, Sheldon, IA 51201).
